The Full Story

Named after the thistle—a plant known for its resilience, strength and unexpected beauty—this business is about more than just handmade goods. It’s about growth through transition, and the joy that can be found in new beginnings.

This small business "bloomed" during a season of change for my little family.   As I began a new chapter as a single mom of four, I searched for a way to support my family on my own- but everything took me further from home and seriously limited the time I have been able to spend with my children. That's been extremely difficult on everyone, as I was previously a stay-at-home mama to these littles.  It's been a difficult transition for everyone- but we're doing it.

Thistle Bloom has started as a side project to help pay for the food on our table while I have been working two other jobs to support my children alone. ​My heart yearns to one day work entirely from home so that I can be as present as possible.  My hope is that I'll be able to build Thistle Bloom into a business that we can all lean on.

My vision for Thistle Bloom is not only to provide for my own family, but to be able to give back—offering support and encouragement to others navigating their own life changes. Whether it’s through sharing resources, collaborating with others, or simply spreading beauty, hope & kindness to those who need it. I pray that this business continues to bloom in a way that we're able to support countless others as they navigate through their own journeys of strength & resilience,
